Living in grace

grace /ɡreɪs/

bring honour or credit to (someone or something) by one's attendance or participation.

I recently found myself thinking about the word grace and what it means to me. At this stage those close to me are glad they are not within my vicinity - my brain loves to ask why about, I suppose everything. Solitary confinement needed. Let my brain unfold. I adore my friends who appreciate my expressive mind. Please let it always be that way.

Creative moments offer grace. I guess you could call it a holistic approach, highlighting how we are participating in this thing called life, aka authentic living. Who knows. Enlightened moments are always welcomed. In my world it's a sure thing.

So, the big question. Can we live in grace?

Damn right. And we can do it our way. Break the chains of how it's meant to be. Allow life to reflect our soul. Be who we are. Live it well.

To do this we need to drop the superficial bullshit. Take off the mask of illusion. Release the whining pretension to goodness. Let life be a reflection of our truth not lies. Eradicate those secrets. Plastic fantastic is desperate and drastic. Can this picture get any clearer? Don't get me wrong, if this is how any of us want to live then who am I to say otherwise? It's all personal choice. I don't see real happiness being a reward here. Maybe happiness is not on the list?

Going deeper. Take a moment to think about what your life is reflecting back to you right now? Do you like it? If it's a yes then keep doing what you're doing. If it's a no, change what you're doing. No one can do this for you. You know yourself better than anyone else.

Deepest depths. What we do, not what we say is what matters. Lip service is the easy option - anyone can do it. How we show up reveals who we really are and that is mirrored back to us by what is happening in our life. Reality check. Are we loving those choices? Or has a resting bitch face just manifested? Close that mouth dear, we are not catching flies.

Living in grace is what our thoughts, emotions and physical body will exude. Compassion. Elegance. Beauty. Divinity. Pass a halo please. The most sparkly one, of course. Place it firmly on that crown chakra. Assume a muladhara mudra and chant a couple of om's. Voila! There you have it.

Stay in love. Light. Grace. Be honourable to your life and all your choices. Show up to the world with integrity.
